Role of a Banking Specialist Manager at Brex
As a Banking Specialist Manager, you will guide a high-performing team of Banking Specialists. Your team will focus on driving the adoption of Brex’s business account suite, which includes checking, treasury, and sweep products. This role is critical for growing Assets Under Management (AUM), expanding customer relationships, and maximizing long-term revenue across Brex’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities
As a Banking Specialist Manager, your responsibilities will range from managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of Banking Specialists to fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-first selling. You will also conduct regular 1:1s, deal reviews, pipeline inspections, and performance coaching sessions. Your role will also involve owning team performance against core banking metrics, which include product adoption, AUM growth, and upsell conversion. You will also be responsible for weekly forecasting, pipeline health, and performance reporting for your team.
Requirements and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years of experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or related sales roles. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing and developing high-performing sales or banking teams. A strong understanding of business banking products such as checking, treasury, cash management, and sweep programs is also essential. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to coach consultative, outbound and inbound sellers to exceed goals and possess excellent communication skills.
Compensation
The expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $194,360 – $242,950. The starting wage will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. The OTE figure listed here includes base salary and commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
