Job Overview and Compensation
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on TD’s services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The pay range for this role is $22.00 – $27.75 USD, and the working hours are 40 per week. TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Key Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you will process customer transactions, open new accounts, and educate customers on all banking products and services. You will also deliver end-to-end advice customers expect, including building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. Moreover, you will understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Customer Accountabilities
The Banking Associate consistently provides legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They establish and nurture customer relationships and manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. They understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy and consider the impact of decisions on TD, its customers, and stakeholders.
Shareholder Accountabilities
In terms of shareholder accountabilities, the Banking Associate ensures compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer. They accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.

The Banking Associate contributes to a positive work environment by participating fully as a member of the team. They actively seek opportunities to improve delivery of work with high attention to quality standards and take ownership of their career and aspirations. Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers. They should have strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The physical requirements include performing sedentary work, operating standard office equipment, responding quickly to sounds, sitting, standing, walking, lifting/carrying items under or over 25 lbs., and applying common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
