What’s in store for you

As part of this opportunity, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of assisting the members with their banking needs. This includes addressing their requests, problems, or complaints in person, over the phone, and via email. In this role, you will also get an opportunity to use the sales process to identify and recommend Credit Union products and services to members based on their financial needs.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a cash drawer, creating professional relationships with members of the banking industry, and actively participating in community-related activities. Regular attendance at branch meetings and training opportunities will also be part of your role. Additionally, you may also be required to work on assigned projects.

Learning Opportunities

Magnifi Financial offers a unique chance to gain comprehensive knowledge about the finance industry. You will learn about the organization’s member service standards and get hands-on experience in a professional environment. This includes processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently and gaining familiarity with Magnifi Financial’s products and procedures.

Moreover, you will also understand the organization’s sales process and gain experience in selling and recommending products and services, and making referrals to other departments. The position also provides an opportunity to learn about deposit accounts, deposit compliance, and industry regulations like BSA, Reg D, Reg CC, etc., and applying these regulations in real-world scenarios.

Requirements

The prerequisites for this position include a high school diploma or an equivalent degree or active pursuit of a high school diploma. Candidates should have a positive attitude and strong communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality, work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities, and at least six months of customer service experience are also required.

Work Schedule and Benefits

The temporary position is for the Summer of 2026 (May/June – August). The work hours are typically between 8 am and 5 pm from Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays from 9 am to noon. The position also offers Paid Time Off (PTO)/Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) from the date of hire.

The salary for this position ranges between $16.95/hr. and $25.42/hr., depending upon various factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
