Overview of the Premier Banking Sales Manager Role

The role of the Premier Banking Sales Manager at East West Bank is to develop and implement a cross-channel strategy aiming to enhance the distribution of wealth products and services throughout the bank’s footprint. This involves interpreting key performance metrics, identifying trends, and leveraging opportunities to boost the bank’s income. Responsibilities of the Premier Banking Sales Manager

The Premier Banking Sales Manager is tasked with a variety of responsibilities. These include supervising the assigned region on sales performance, policies, and compliance, as well as training and collaborating with Premier bankers to drive new business growth in alignment with regional and corporate goals.

The individual will also work closely with the Head of Wealth Management and Head of Consumer Banking to develop a tactical sales strategy to address market opportunities. Other responsibilities include identifying and resolving client issues and concerns in a timely and decisive manner, driving efficiency and quality improvements in processes and systems to positively impact bottom-line and participant service, and establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for markets/regions.

Qualifications for the Premier Banking Sales Manager Role

The ideal candidate for the Premier Banking Sales Manager role should possess previous experience in a senior sales leadership/management role with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets. A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in sales development and strategy positions within the wealth management or financial services field is required, including five or more years of direct supervisory or managerial experience.

Additional qualifications include advanced knowledge of wealth banking products, services, sales, and delivery within a banking environment, high-level expertise in sales, networking, negotiation, business acumen, relationship building, and execution of responsibilities. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels is crucial. The candidate should also possess proficient interpersonal communication, writing and group presentation skills.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not offered at this time. The base pay range for this position is USD $140,000.00/Yr. – USD $260,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
