Opportunities at Magnifi Financial Credit Union
This temporary position at Magnifi Financial presents an array of opportunities. You’ll have the chance to assist our members with their banking needs, responding to their requests, issues, or complaints in person, over the phone, and via e-mail. You’ll also learn the sales process to identify and recommend Credit Union products and services, based on the financial needs of our members.
Part of your responsibilities will include maintaining a cash drawer and establishing professional, lasting relationships with members of the banking industry. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in community-related activities, attend regular branch meetings, partake in training opportunities, and work on assigned projects.
What You’ll Learn from this Experience
Working at Magnifi Financial will be a journey of constant learning. You’ll familiarize yourself with our member service standards, gain experience in processing financial transactions accurately, and enhance your understanding of our products and procedures. You’ll also learn about the sales process, and get hands-on experience in selling and recommending products and services.
Furthermore, you’ll gain knowledge about deposit accounts, deposit compliance, and industry regulations such as BSA, Reg D, Reg CC, among others, and how to apply them in real-life situations.
Education and Experience
Aspiring candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively pursuing one. It’s crucial to have a positive attitude, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and minimal direction. A minimum of six months’ customer service experience is required.
Schedule and Benefits
The summer 2026 schedule runs from May/June to August, with the end date to be determined upon offer. The position is full-time, with working hours typically between 9 am and 5 pm from Monday to Friday, and rotating Saturdays from 9 am to noon. You’ll start accruing Paid Time Off (PTO)/Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) from your hire date. The salary range for this position is between $16.95/hr and $25.42/hr, depending on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
