Position Overview
As a temporary team member at Magnifi Financial Credit Union, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with our members, addressing their banking needs and responding to their requests, problems, or complaints. This position also allows you to participate in community-related activities, attend regular branch meetings, and partake in training opportunities. Furthermore, you will work on assigned projects, thereby gaining a broad understanding of the banking industry.
What You Will Learn
At Magnifi Financial Credit Union, we believe in equipping our team members with practical skills and knowledge. You will learn our member service standards and gain experience working with members in a professional environment. This role will also expose you to financial transactions processing and provide a better understanding of Magnifi Financial’s products and procedures. In addition, you will also learn about deposit accounts, deposit compliance, and industry regulations such as BSA, Reg D, Reg CC, and more.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a high school diploma or be actively pursuing one. Essential qualities include a positive attitude, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a strong ability to maintain confidentiality. Previous experience in a customer service role and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also preferred.
Working Hours and Benefits
The position is for Summer 2026, from May/June to August, with an end date to be determined upon offer. The working hours are typically between 9 am and 5 pm from Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays from 9 am to noon. As a part of our team, you will receive benefits such as Paid Time Off (PTO)/Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST), beginning to accrue upon your date of hire. The salary range for the position is $16.95/hr through $25.42/hr, with variations based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
