Client Implementation Account Manager (Banking): A Role That Makes a Difference

One of the roles that Fiserv is currently hiring for is the position of a Client Implementation Account Manager (Banking). This role is part of the Digital Solutions Abiliti Implementation Team, which is responsible for assisting in the implementation, training, consulting, and support of software. The role also requires building relationships across various groups within Fiserv to deliver solutions.

The products implemented by this role primarily revolve around online banking, including but not limited to mobile, mobile deposits, ACH, wires, alerting, website, and more. It’s a role that combines technical expertise with customer service and project management, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

The Client Implementation Account Manager (Banking) is expected to lead multiple implementation projects, track, organize, document, and communicate all product implementation-related activities for each client, and act as a liaison among various parties for projects involving multiple product offerings.

They are also expected to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Fiserv products and services, become a subject matter expert in the products they are implementing, walk clients through setup and testing procedures, provide technical assistance to other teams, assist with documentation, and occasionally provide after-hours support. In essence, the role is multi-faceted and requires a diverse skill set.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

Applicants must have a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent experience) and at least four years of experience with customer-facing projects or in a client support role. Financial Services Industry experience and proficient core computer skills are also essential.

Strong communication, research, and analytical skills are also required, as the role involves communicating project status, product details, and technical specifications, as well as problem-solving issues and determining appropriate options for clients.

Preferred skills include Fiserv core or Online Banking experience, time management skills, basic networking and data communication understanding, and Project Management experience or PMP certification.
