Sponsor Bank Strategy & Sales Enablement Associate Role
The role of Sponsor Bank Strategy & Sales Enablement Associate is crucial to Visa’s growth and innovation journey. The individual in this position will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives across functions that provide substantial value to clients. They will also lead internal efforts to improve operational excellence for the client segment.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Sponsor Bank Strategy & Sales Enablement Associate at Visa is expected to:
- Participate in cross-functional projects to refine existing strategies and drive growth for Visa’s Sponsor Bank partners.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify client pain points and assist in launching new products and services.
- Create frameworks and processes to improve ‘specialized sales’ for Sponsorship in collaboration with other North America Sales teams.
- Support the alignment and implementation of strategies and operating models for the Sponsor Bank segment.
- Serve as the sales operations and sales excellence champion for the Sponsor Bank team by leading the process of tracking and measuring sales objectives to improve collaboration, pipeline management, goal setting, and recognition.
- Monitor market trends, activities, and competitor actions to deliver thought leadership and support the development of strategies and plans for clients.
- Upskill and educate internal teams on the Sponsor Bank segment to ensure continued improvement of the internal operating model.
- Serve as AI champion across the team.
Qualifications for the Role
Basic Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field, graduating between May 2025 and August 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, demonstrating professional judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of payment products.
