The Role of A Technology Associate Banker

Their responsibilities include helping bankers to cover new prospects, deepening existing client relationships, completing portfolio reviews, building market share, and driving internal and external client dialogue.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The role requires a deep working knowledge of various banking solutions, including but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Commercial Card, and Merchant Services. As an Associate Banker, you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to build a brand within your market that represents the Technology Industry group at JP Morgan as the “Leading Innovation Economy bank serving the best and most diverse clients”.

Apart from acquiring new relationships and deepening existing ones, the role also involves relentless focus on seeking out the best and most diverse founders powering innovation. This is done by leveraging a referral network built through business activities and relationship development. Additionally, an ideal candidate for this role should show passion about innovation, the start-up eco-system, and entrepreneurship.

To qualify for this role, you’re required to have at least 3+ years of related experience, a strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services, excellent sales management and business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses.
