Role Focus: Ensuring Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
The primary purpose of the role with Requisition ID: 247734 is to support and coordinate Compliance Testing reviews for GBM and Treasury (GBM&T) business operations in International Banking (IB). The role involves providing subject matter expertise, oversight, and reporting across the IB countries for GBM products, services, and processes.
The responsibilities of the role include overseeing compliance testing for International Banking businesses, identifying and escalating potential control gaps and non-compliance issues, and ensuring timely resolution of recommendations and deficiencies. The role also involves educating team members on relevant business areas and regulatory requirements and assisting in the development and maintenance of the annual testing plans and progress reports.
Role Requirements: Compliance Experience and Bilingual Skills
The successful candidate for this role will bring a wealth of experience in compliance, audit, or regulatory exam support, including a testing or audit background. A background in broker-dealer inspections, institutional trading & sales, investment banking, futures commission merchant, swap dealer activities, commercial banking, investment management, and corporate functions is essential.
Furthermore, familiarity with applicable SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, Federal Reserve and state banking rules applicable to international banks conducting institutional trading & sales, investment banking, investment management, and commercial banking in the U.S is required. The candidate must hold a BA/BS or international equivalent degree, and bilingual skills with fluency in Spanish are essential.
