Responsibilities and Duties of a Senior Banker
As a Senior Banker, you will be entrusted with delivering a high-touch and superior service experience to a portfolio of affluent clientele who have a minimum of $3MM in liquid/investable assets. The primary responsibility is to adopt a proactive and disciplined approach to expanding and retaining existing relationships and acquiring new affluent clients.
The Senior Banker facilitates efficient and accurate interactions between the client and investing business partners and partners with the Investment Advisor, working the same book of business together. The role reports to the Regional Director and involves various duties.
Position Duties
The Senior Banker’s duties primarily revolve around maintaining and establishing relationships with high-net-worth individuals. You will be part of a Regional Team participating in the Bank’s private banking efforts throughout Latin America, including Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and others. Services provided to these clients include banking, credit, and asset and risk management.
Your role will involve analyzing investment opportunities, reviewing corporate financial reports, profit and earnings statements, and other financial data to make informed decisions about investment possibilities. You’ll be required to provide clients with up-to-the-minute investment information and execute their investment decisions while demonstrating in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
Additionally, you will be expected to work closely with Private Wealth, Product, and Compliance teams to develop sales strategies for target clients and markets, ensuring that cross-business synergies are achieved.
Specialized Knowledge and Job Requirements
The role of a Senior Banker requires specialized knowledge and certain job requirements. You should have a strong understanding of modeling techniques, financial analysis, banking and regulatory documentation requirements, domestic and foreign securities markets, and products. Excellent presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings are also crucial.
Job Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 7-10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in managing processes or technology. Strong sales and marketing skills, a great work ethic, superior interpersonal and organizational skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish are also required.
Work Environment and Conditions
The duties of a Senior Banker are typically performed in an office environment. The role may require light to moderate lifting (10-20 lbs.) and carrying of supplies, files, etc. and the ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees, both in person and over the phone.

Salary Range
The base pay range for the Senior Banker position is between $123,750.00 USD and $225,000.00 USD.
