Job Description and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.

As a Banking Associate, you would be performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You would be providing end-to-end advice customers expect, utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, and understanding customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services.

Education & Experience

For this role, a high school diploma or GED is required. Having one year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred, and this could be demonstrated through various avenues including volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred skills include demonstrated customer service skills, the ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strong organization skills.

Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

As a Banking Associate, you would be responsible for consistently providing high-quality customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You would also be responsible for ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the customer.

Physical Requirements
