The role we’re exploring today is based in the scenic East Hanover, New Jersey, United States of America. The banking associate is expected to work for 20 hours a week and will be compensated at a rate of $23.75 – $31.00 USD. Job Description: Banking Associate
The banking associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role entails accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. As a banking associate, you will be performing a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
Education and Experience Requirements
TD Bank has set forth certain qualifications and experience requirements for the role. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of customer service experience. Teller experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates should also possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and have excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
In terms of customer accountabilities, the banking associate is expected to provide legendary customer service, nurture customer relationships, and manage wait times to meet with a banker. Meanwhile, shareholder accountabilities include accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions, adhering to company guidelines and regulations, and ensuring compliance with customer authentication principles.

Physical Requirements
The job also has specific physical requirements. These include frequent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.).
