As part of its ongoing journey of transformation, Capital One’s Retail Bank is seeking a highly skilled Director, Portfolio and Project Management Marketing Strategy. Role and Responsibilities
The Director, Portfolio and Project Management Marketing Strategy will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities. These will include leading the annual and quarterly marketing strategic planning processes, managing key horizontal process initiatives, and facilitating collaboration across leaders and teams. The role requires an individual who can effectively connect the dots between good process and great results, influence others to achieve organizational goals, and lead a vocal leadership team toward purposeful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be able to build processes and programs to standardize “how we work,” support marketer success and engagement, and build our brand across Capital One as a leading modern marketing organization. They will also be responsible for the codification of marketing best practices, testing, and marketer skill development to ensure consistent standards of quality.
Preferred Qualifications
While a Bachelor’s degree or military experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in digital performance marketing and at least 7 years of people management experience, are the basic qualifications for this role, there are certain preferred qualifications as well. These include a Master’s degree in Marketing or Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
