Job Description and Scope
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at the store location. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, providing advice, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The professional in this role is responsible for delivering end-to-end advice that customers expect and utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to deepen relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
TD Bank is seeking candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This could include volunteering, education, or military experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated effective problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a must, and a Notary License is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate at TD Bank is expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They also need to ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.
