Working Hours and Compensation
The position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. TD offers competitive compensation, ranging between $22.00 – $27.75 USD per hour. Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate
The Banking Associate is a vital part of TD’s Brand promise. Their primary responsibility is to carry out banking transactions accurately and provide advice on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The associate will perform a multitude of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. They will also engage with customers to deepen relationships and identify their financial needs. The associate will then recommend suitable products and services or direct them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Depth & Scope
The Banking Associate will be involved in multiple areas of the store’s operations including managing wait times for customers to meet with a banker, scheduling, rescheduling or canceling client meetings, and understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy. They will be expected to contribute to a positive work environment and consistently provide legendary customer service. The associate will also be accountable for compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures, and will be responsible for maintaining appropriate records of action plans, among other tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or GED. One year of experience working with customers in any capacity, demonstrated customer service skills, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred. Teller experience is also preferred. Notary License is a plus.
Physical Requirements
The position involves performing multiple tasks and operating standard office equipment. The associate will be expected to respond quickly to sounds and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks. The role may also require lifting/carrying items weighing up to 25 lbs. on occasion.
