Your Role as an Investment Consultant
As an Investment Consultant (IC), your journey begins at the ground level within our Branch Network. This is the first step towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab. The Investment Consultant role provides you with the necessary exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space.
Building a book of business involves proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis, and positioning appropriate products and solutions. You will observe our skilled FCs and learn how to deliver unparalleled value and service through collaboration and mentoring. Qualifications for the Role
Required Qualifications:
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
- A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to leverage Business development experience
- Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
- Openness to build strong client relationships
It is worth noting that in addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
