Schwab Service Academy (SSA)
A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to attend the Schwab Service Academy (SSA), a platform that provides paid training, study time, and support. This comprehensive training will equip you with the knowledge required to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. Compensation and Bonuses
Working at Schwab is not only about career growth but also about monetary reward. A competitive pay package is offered, which starts at $52,800 during training and can increase depending on related experience. Additionally, an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings is provided. Employees have the potential to increase their total compensation to $60,280 within their 1st year upon obtaining the required Licensing and achieving performance-based pay increases.
Qualifications and Requirements
While a background in finance is advantageous, it is not a requirement. Schwab values a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a passion for serving others. Required qualifications include the ability to work full time on-site during Schwab’s training program (SSA), followed by a hybrid work schedule, and the ability to work various shifts to serve our clients 24/7, including overnight and weekend availability.
Preferred qualifications include previous customer service and client relationship experience, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university, the ability to adapt to changes in the market and business, eagerness to learn about finance, and a passion for client service.
